Two gay men kicked out of Chico's Tacos restaurant for kissing

Read this article in El Paso Times, and it just irked me. Last year I experienced a little of what of the gay community goes through on a daily basis. At my brother-in-laws wedding we sat with their gay cousin. No one else would sit with us, no one except for the married couple came and said hello, and the whole night we got ugly looks from people like we had the plague. It was sad

About Me

Romeo
Back in 2002, along with a couple hundred college kids, was invited by the Republican Party to help campaign in Louisiana. School gave us excused absence (for like four days), credit in govt related classes, plus the Party gave us some pay though they don't call it that cuz that would be illegal. It was great fun despite some adversity and feeling like I had done something wrong or been cheated. I hadn't done anything wrong but do think that our giddiness was exploited. A combination of the Bush Administration, visiting Europe in the summer of 2003, and entrenchment with the fundamentalists has driven me far away from anything resembling conservative.
